The holidays get easier when every gift, price and order is in one place. The Christmas Gift Tracker lets you list the people you buy for, add each gift idea and enter the price you plan to pay and the price you actually paid.

Each gift moves through a status from Idea to Given. The Dashboard shows the days left, how many gifts are in hand, what you have spent, what is still to spend and what is left of your budget, and lists overdue items and the next dates.

It is a digital download for Excel and Google Sheets, made for families planning the holiday season.

How it works

Set the holiday date and, if you like, a total budget on Start Here.
Add the people you buy for.
Add each gift with its planned price and update its status as you go.
Add other holiday expenses and check the Dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work in Excel and Google Sheets?

Yes. You get an Excel workbook and a PDF guide with a link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. The two versions are separate files and do not sync.

Can I use it for other holidays?

Yes. You set the holiday date yourself, so it works for any gift-giving occasion.

Does it track orders from stores?

No. You type the order and arrival dates yourself. It does not connect to any store.

Is there an example file?

Yes. A second Excel file is filled with example data, so you can see how everything works before using your own numbers.
