List your items once, then record every unit that comes in or goes out. The sheet works out the stock on hand, flags what is low or out of stock, builds a reorder list with an estimated order cost and shows the value of your inventory at cost and at retail.

How it works

Add your items with an opening stock and a reorder level.
Record each movement on the Stock Movements tab: date, item, type and quantity.
Open the Reorder List to see what is at or below its level.
Check the Dashboard and Inventory Value for the big picture.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work in Excel and Google Sheets?

Yes. You get an Excel workbook and a PDF guide with a link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. The two versions are separate files and do not sync.

Does it connect to my shop?

No. You type your stock movements into the sheet. It does not connect to any shop, scanner or accounting software.

Can I track more than one location?

Each item has a location field for your notes. Stock is calculated per item, not per location.

Is there an example file?

Yes. A second Excel file is filled with example data, so you can see how everything works before using your own numbers.
