A wedding budget changes as quotes and contracts come in. The Wedding Budget Tracker lets you start with an estimate for each item and replace it with the actual cost once you know it.

Log every deposit, installment and final payment, and the sheet shows what is paid, what is still due and how each item compares with your estimate. The Dashboard adds your total budget, cost per guest and the payments that are overdue, and the Summary shows who has paid what.

Enter your total budget and number of guests on Start Here (optional).
Add budget items with an estimate, and the actual cost when you have it.
Log each payment and who paid it.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work in Excel and Google Sheets?

Yes. You get an Excel workbook and a PDF guide with a link to make your own copy in Google Sheets. The two versions are separate files and do not sync.

Is this the same as the Wedding Planner?

No. This file focuses on the budget and vendor payments. The Wedding Planner is a larger workbook that also covers guests, seating, tasks and the honeymoon.

Does it connect to my bank?

No. You type the payments in yourself.

Is there an example file?

Yes. A second Excel file is filled with example data for a sample wedding, so you can see how everything works before using your own numbers.
